Seminar: Fundamentals of Labor Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Basics of Negotiation a
This seminar-training is developed in accordance with Article 159 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is intended for managers, company employees, and members of conciliation commissions whose work involves the resolution, prevention, and forecasting of disputes, conflicts, and disagreements.
Objective of the Seminar-Training:
The goal is to improve participants' qualifications in applying labor legislation, teach modern techniques for preventing and managing workplace conflicts, and develop negotiation and mediation skills for constructive conflict resolution within organizations.
During the training, participants will examine recent amendments to Kazakhstan’s labor law and their practical application, the nature of labor disputes, methods of prevention and resolution, and will analyze real-world business cases related to managing labor conflicts through negotiation.
Seminar Format and Training Methods:
• Theoretical input with active discussions and open debates
• Analysis and discussion of practical case studies
• Business simulations in small and large groups to develop and reinforce relevant skills
• Use of presentations, audio and video materials, and printed handouts
• Homework assignments for better retention
• Brainstorming, feedback with evaluation and discussion, and final testing
Duration:
16 academic hours (2 full days)
Sessions are held daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with coffee and lunch breaks included.
Languages of Instruction:
The training is delivered in both Kazakh and Russian languages.
